Handsomely bound in contemporary full calf; spine gilt in compartments with red morocco lettering-piece; initial and terminal blanks present; diagrams in the text; 3 folding plates towards the back of the book; printed side- and foot-notes. Dedication: "To the King, this edition of the principal books of the elements of Euclid, and of the book of his Data, is most humbly dedicated, by His Majesty's most dutiful, and most devoted subject and servant, Robert Simson". Condition: VERY GOOD. Collated complete. Binding tight and secure. Some rubbing and abrasions to covers.
