Printed in Worcester, Massachusetts by Isaiah Thomas. 1789, Volume II only, 571 pp, 8 x 5.5 , 8vo, hardcover full leather. In overall good condition, with rubbing and wear to boards and spine. Light loss to head and heel of spine. Light cracking to hinge of front board. Some chipping and wear to title label and leather down spine. Light marginalia and markings. Text block remains bound well. General age-related toning to pages, along with periodic foxing and wear. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing. A scarce piece published by Isaiah Thomas (1749-1831), an early American printer from Massachusetts, best known for performing the first reading of the Declaration of Independence and for first reporting the Battles of Lexington and Concord.
