Many of the blank leaves have old ink writing - presumably by a student, though some notes not Optics related. The last printed page before the errata page states it is page 251 and end of vol. 4, part I. A set was printed- combined with Wood's work on algebra. This book appears to be the complete work on Optics, with the other volumes being on algebra - and specially printed for use of students- including the blank leaves - those are lacking here. Overall, binding poor- no covers, contents age toned with moderately heavy foxing and some pencil marks in text as well as student notes on the blank leaves- which makes it interesting to study.
