Volume 1 contains The preparatory studies; General principles; Eléments of architecture. Volume 2 contains The elements of the composition in the dwelling and in the structures; teaching and public instruction. In the political, administrative structures, judicial, jails; In the hospital structures, in the public structures. Volume 3 contains The elements of the composition in the religious structures. Volume 4 contains elements of architectural composition in commemorative buildings and decorations along public roads. Really, 8 volumes of text bound in 4. Vastly illustrated, with many line drawings and floor plans. Very Good. Covers have general wear, corner/edge damage. Leather on spine has peeling, discoloration. Bookblock has age toning and corner darkening. Interior pages have age toning. Previous owners bookplate on inside fornt covers. Binding loose on Vol 1. Cover to vol 4 is free from binding.
