Paperback. Assassins slip through the night as they complete a deadly mission in Colorado. At the behest of their power hungry and brilliant commander, Robespierre, they accomplish their task. They weren't quick enough, however, to stop their target from sending a packet of clues that could expose their plans and save millions of lives. Grace and Noah Ferguson have never heard of Robespierre or the ruthless secret society he leads, the Blackhammer Fist. All Grace is worried about is keeping Noah out of trouble and finding a way to stay with their foster family. Ever since their parents mysteriously vanished, the two have bounced from home to home. But when the Blackhammer Fist tracks the parcel of clues to their house, Grace and Noah will uncover a shocking international plot as they run for their lives. The siblings team up with Gulliver Nestor, an eccentric inventor, to help find the pieces of the Text, a mysterious tome at the heart of a multi-billion dollar deal that threatens the world with environmental disaster. Grace and Noah must use all their cunning and bravery to find each of the Caretakers, protectors of the chapters of the ancient document, and prevent Robespierre from unleashing a global catastrophe. Eleven days. Two siblings. One secret powerful enough to change the world.
Grace Ferguson has spent her life learning how to survive. As a foster kid, she knows better than to trust adults—or fate. But when a mysterious package arrives at her home, Grace and her younger brother Noah are thrust into a deadly race against time they never asked for.
Hunted by a ruthless secret organization known as the Blackhammer Fist, the siblings are forced to flee across continents, carrying cryptic riddles tied to an ancient document lost for centuries. With assassins closing in and the clock ticking, Grace must decipher clues hidden in history, science, and myth—before the truth falls into the wrong hands.
From burning houses to hidden fortresses, from the Mediterranean to the Alps, Grace discovers that survival isn’t just about escaping danger—it’s about choosing who you become when everything is on the line.
A cinematic Young Adult adventure filled with mystery, heart, and relentless momentum, The Elephant Chronicle is perfect for readers who love high-stakes quests, brave heroines, and secrets buried deep in history.

About the Author
Author Nat Jackson would like to convince you that he recently won the Nobel Prize for solving world hunger, inventing the alphabet, bringing peace to the Middle East, and designing a travel mug that prevents liquids spilling down your chin.
Lies.
Maybe someday, but for now his primary ambition is to find the perfect cup of coffee. Not much of a quest when compared to the adventure of The Elephant Chronicle...
Long fascinated by the ancient world, Nat completed a history degree at McMaster University in Canada that gave him the historical expertise needed to create the odyssey of Grace and Noah.
When he wasn't delving into history, cryptology, and mythology, Nat earned his master's degree in exercise physiology from Colorado State University, and is a published research author in oncology, cardiology, and exercise physiology.
Nat lives in Denver, Colorado, with his two amazing daughters.
Oskee wee wee!
