The Elephant In my Room: Tagalog & English Dual Text

Ang Elepante sa Kuwarto Ko / The Elephant In My Room
Tagalog & English Bilingual Edition

“I can’t leave the house. Someone might find it!” Sometimes it can be hard for children to talk to people about things that, while important, might be embarrassing or scary for them. Cecil has an elephant in his room, and it is a big problem. With the help of his mother, Cecil learns that communication is the only way he can deal with the very real elephant in his room and that everyone has something that might be uncomfortable for them to talk about.

This book helps children learn to share feelings, ask questions, and express their fears, all while learning a new language.

Grateful acknowledgement is made to Dr. Christopher Lee for his medical expertise, professional input, and his desire to improve communication channels for children impacted by cancer.
