Externally smart, with minor shelf wear to the extremities. Gilt remains bright overall, with just a little fading to the gilt of the William Browne volumes and one set of the Robert Herrick volumes. A little shelf wear to the boards of one set of the Robert Herrick volumes. Faint marks to the boards of the Andrew Marvell and William Morris volumes. Ink inscription to the front free end papers of the John Donne volumes and of one set of the Robert Herrick volumes. Neat ink inscriptions and underlinings to many pages of the William Morris volume, including inscriptions to the end papers and rear paste down. Internally, firmly bound.
