A BCE of an early 1950s mystery. An abridged version of the novel appeared in the American Magazine under the title Design for Murder. Light edge wear, mostly along the top edge of the front panel. Small loss at the head and tail of the spine. Light soiling to the rear panel. Faint damp stain along the top edge of the DJ that penetrates only to the FEPs but no further. The internals are clean and tight. A very good copy.
