A biography of the primary benefactor of Yale College, whose name the institution took at the suggestion of none other than Cotton Mather. Ironically, though American born, Elihu Yale never set foot in the colonies again after his childhood. No previous ownership marks. A clean, square, fresh and unmarked copy.
