Slim 8vo, early 20th century library cloth, ex-lib, spine and edges of corners worn, previous owner's ink annotations in margin of half-title page and margin of page 3 with one sentence underlined on page 3. Augusta: Badger and Manley, 1880. First Edition. A good copy Author joined the Continental Army at the age of seventeen. He served throughout the war, including the Battles of Bunker Hiill, Saratoga, and Yorktown. Ex libris from the Royal United Service Institution with its withdrawal stamp. Howes F-149a.
