A popular keynote speaker, she has presented addresses for numerous state and national health, sexuality, drug abuse prevention, and other educational conferences, including State PTA keynotes in seventeen states.

She holds a master's degree in education and is certified as a sex educator. Ellen has taught Health and Human Sexuality at the junior high school, high school and college levels.
