About this Item

The First Edition Library's facsimile of the 1927 classic by Sinclair Lewis, originally published by Harcourt, Brace, and Company. The books is in fine condition with no flaws I can see. The dust jacket has fading to spine, several small rubbed spots on front panel, and very light edgewear in a couple of places. The slipcase is near fine with very light soiling to rear panel, a wrinkle on one edge, and light wear at one or two corners. Photos are the best description. First Edition Library Facsimiles had the same weight, size, typeface, art, dust jacket, finish and texture as the originals. Even mistakes (all first edition points are present) were duplicated The series is now out of print and these facsimiles are collectible in their own right. The publisher's slip describing first edition points and other information about the book is prized by collectors and this book has it.
