Black cloth taped spine. 39 pages with color illustrations on each page. The first of the books for the Dick and Jane series, this was the one that followed and was revised from The Elson Pupil's Hand Chart. Delightful drawings of Dick, Jane, Baby, Spot, Little Mew (the cat), and all the other characters. Includes a last page listing 39 vocabulary words. A very good copy. Very tight. Faint ex-lib. stamp inside front cover, spine tape lightly wrinkled at one spot, and several pages have light age stains. Otherwise, no marks.
