The Emanating

Toby and Taylor set out on what was meant to be the road trip of a lifetime-just the two of them, a beat-up car, and the endless stretch of backroads across the American heartland. But adventure turns to desperation when Taylor is bitten by something in the woods after a roadside breakdown, her condition worsening with every passing mile.

As night falls, they stumble upon a secluded cottage where an elderly woman named Maya offers shelter. Warm, welcoming, and seemingly kind, Maya treats Taylor's wound and insists they stay the night to recover. Her home smells of herbs and freshly baked pie, her demeanor calm and grandmotherly. At first, it feels like they've found a miracle.

But as the hours pass, unease begins to grow. Maya starts asking for things they aren't willing to give-blood and hair for "healing."

Maya is not who she seems.

As Toby battles the growing haze clouding his mind and struggles to get Taylor out, he begins to unravel the horrifying truth behind Maya's gentle smile. They didn't just stumble onto her land-they were lured. And if they don't escape soon, they may never be seen again.

The Emanating is a chilling, fast-paced thriller about trust, survival, and the terrifying masks evil can wear.
