P Kothari, Ph.D., is at present Vice Chancellor of VIT University, Vellore, India. His previous assignments were that of Professor at Centre for Energy Studies, IIT Delhi; Director in charge, IIT Delhi (2005); Deputy Director (Administration), IIT Delhi (2003-06); and Head, Centre for Energy Studies, IIT Delhi (1995-97).

Dr. Kothari`s fields of specialization include Optimal Hydro-thermal Scheduling, Unit Commitment, Maintenance Scheduling, Communication and Control in Electric Power Systems, Energy Conservation and Power Quality. He has contributed extensively to these areas, guided 30 Ph.Ds, 60 M.Techs., authored 20 books in Power Systems and allied areas and published/ presented 535 research papers in various journals/conferences.

He is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers (India) and holds professional membership of different institutions. He has received several awards including the life time achievement award for 2005 in Engineering.

Shriram Vasudevanis an M Tech, MBA, (PhD) with 6+ years of industrial and academic experience. He has done his masters in the field of Embedded Systems. He has worked with top multinational companies like Wipro and Aricent Technologies. He was also associated with VIT University. Currently, he is employed with Amrita University as a Technical ManagerLearning and Development. He has written 11 books in various fields and is authoring 5 more books. Also he has published 29 international journal papers. He was awarded by Wipro Technologies and VIT University for his technical contributions. His invention obtained him inventor award from intellectual ventures. He has got strong interest in the area of Operating Systems, Embedded Systems and Networking.

Sundaram R M D is an M Tech, MBA, is working with Wipro Technologies as a Technical Leader. He has published his papers in international journals and has got enormous interest in Image Processing and Operating Systems.

Murali N is predominantly an electrical engineer, with Embedded Programming skills, has 7 years of teaching and research experience. He was associated with VIT University for 5 years. And, currently, he is working as a Lecturer at Nizwa College of Technology, Sultanate of Oman.
