Embracing The Father (Paperback or Softback)

Together with the author’s story of travelling through the tough circumstances of his own brain tumour diagnosis; Embracing the Father  takes the reader on a journey through some of the well-known stories from the Old Testament, and some less well known ones, in order to grasp a fuller understanding of the true nature of God, and how one reacts to difficult situations.

Is he a mean and self-centred being or is he kind and generous? Is the Old Testament God relevant to us today? Does he become a much more approachable God in the New Testament, or maybe a different God altogether? The author explores mankind’s relationship with God as a Father, and how that has developed in his own journey, in both serious and humorous ways.

This book will greatly encourage the reader to ‘fear no evil’. There is grace and power in the Lord to see us through all our walks of life. Our God is able to sustain us to the uttermost. This book is a great enabling tool given by the Lord, for us to more fully understand the Father’s heart.  Dr. Fortunato Santos.

Phil is recovering from the effects of a serious brain tumour following a seizure in 2016. Being with a friend at the time of the seizure, who had been a paramedic, saved his life when he virtually died in this moment. Mike was able to restore Phil’s vital signs, freeing his airways so that he was breathing again, and to this day he has made a miraculous recovery. Mike and Carla Hill.
