Where many scholars see an end-time prophet not well-suited to today's world, David Galston finds a human Jesus who inspires honesty in the practice of Christianity. Like other ancient purveyors of wisdom, Galston finds that Jesus has much to offer the contemporary world. Galston combines academic insight with basic forms of Christian experience to propose a simple yet inspiring model that will help communities takes the historical Jesus to church.
