The images are shown with extended captions giving the country of origin, age, size and the embroidery techniques employed to make them. Now housed in the Bucks County Museum (UK), the collection hails from countries such as China, Japan, North America, Spain, Greece, Italy, Turkey, Norway and Switzerland. Store description
Here at NW Book Rescue, we strive to keep used books and media out of landfills and in the hands of caring folks. Our team searches through pre-loved books and media to find you the gems: the old, the beautiful, the historic, the long lost favorites, the new centerpiece, the new-to you favorite read, watch, or listen. In the age of on-demand streaming, we believe in the preservation of physical media; there's nothing quite like the smell of an old book or the sound of a good record. We hope that you'll explore with us, find great treasures, and let us be a part of your used book and media experience. We also sell on Amazon and purchase/appraise books locally! We are located in Hubbard, Oregon and serve the Portland/Salem area. If you have any questions or are looking for something specific, shoot us a message: we are here to help!…
