About the Author

Mark Odland, MA, LMFT, MDIV is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist practicing in the United States. He is an Approved Supervisor through the Minnesota Board of Marriage and Family Therapy, an EMDRIA Certified Therapist, Approved Consultant and CE Provider, and an Approved Consultant and Basic Training Facilitator with EMDR-HAP (Trauma Recovery). Mark received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Augustana College in Sioux Falls, South Dakota with a double major in Art and Religion. He went on to receive his Master of Divinity degree from Luther Seminary in St. Paul, and his Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Argosy University in Eagan, Minnesota. Mark is passionate about EMDR, and through his consulting, coaching, and continuing education services, empowers other therapists around the world to more effectively help their clients. He is able to provide fellow therapists the consultation they need to become EMDRIA Certified, complete an EMDR Basic Training, or become an EMDRIA Approved Consultant. He also provides individual EMDR Consultation for those wanting to deepen in their mastery of EMDR therapy and find answers to specific questions not always addressed in Basic Trainings. In addition to the general practice of EMDR therapy, Mark has special interest in integrating EMDR with both spirituality and creativity.
