Here is a unique grouping of books by Joan Walsh Anglund, for all those who love and admire her works for children. All the books are hardbacks except 'Poems' which is a softcover. Here are the details about each book. The Emily and Adam series are 3 hardback books in their matching slipcase. This is a rare set, and very hard to come by. The box shows wear and fray and some scuffing. The Adam book has the most use, binding is slightly loose, gutter cracks and slightly lifted back cover leaf, but it really isn't that bad. The other two books in the Emily Adam series are in very good condition. The 'Childhood' book is a cloth/embossed hardback wth a discolored stain on one third of the front and back cover, fairly minor, interior of the book is clean and unmarked, very nice condition. 'Love Is' is a cloth embossed hardcover with its original dust cover in very nice condition, a little fray on the dj, but very clean. 'Christmas' is a cloth embossed hardcover, with some fray at edges and inside gutter cracks, binding thus slightly loose, there is come red cover bleed on the tops of a few pages, but otherwise clean and unmarked. 'A Friend' is a cloth embossed hardback with its dust cover, it is in very good condition except for a previous owner name and inscription on the ffep and inside front cover. These last 4 books are matching in binding, size and publisher. The last book is Poems selected by Louis Untermeyer and illustrated by Anglund from the Golden Treasury of Poetry, it is a soft cover Golden Book, it is in good plus condition, clean and unmarked.
