Emily's Gold

A man in search of himself finds he must push past the deceit of old enemies and lost love to find the truth that could set him free.

Emily's Gold takes place in one of the most charming cities in Texas, Corpus Christi. A waterfront community, Corpus started as a fishing village and still stands today as a great fishing and sailing spot. The story is built around two people who were high school sweethearts, but took separate paths to pursue very different dreams. Nearly thirty years later they are drawn back together in a deadly game of greed and deceit. I lived in the Corpus area for about three years and enjoyed it immensely. A job forced my move from the area and it was the longing for the waterfront of Corpus, that spurred me on to write "Emily's Gold". I like to read books that are fast paced and highly suspenseful, so "Emily's Gold" had to fit that bill. I think you will find it a quick read, with page turning suspense and just enough romance to keep it interesting.
