Synopsis
Old Man Smith is sitting on a one thousand acre run down horse ranch that is prime ground. He finds himself in a war to keep it. Both the city of Sedalia Missouri and the Mob in Detroit and New York want it, and both use Eminent Domain as their vehicle to take it. Smith being a World War II Veteran and a sharp shooter in the war is no stranger to war. The Tobin boys who grew up around the old man have their own ranch and side with Smith. Ben Tobin is standing behind Old Man Smith while he's looking towards the city of Sedalia and he says to him. "Ben, I've never been no hand with words, I'm no politician. The only thing I was ever real good with was a gun. I'm just going to fight 'em with what I know. Yeah, Ben, I'll be waiting on those hi-tech sophisticated sunzabitches." The greatest generation in American History has no back down to him, and his principals and values will not waver or bend.Before it's over the eyes of the nation and the world would be on Sedalia Missouri. Old Man Smith is full of surprises and just when you think you have it all figured... well, not so fast, maybe not.

Discovered by the great Eddy Arnold which explains why there should be no surprise RW has a vocal like no other. Royal Wade was rasied in the mountains of Northwest AR. It is well known that RW'S lineage goes back to a long line of outlaws. It must be in the blood as he as been called from time to time the "Outlaw of Nashville." Royal Wade Kimes is not afraid of work as he did things the hard way, he bucked the system of Nashville. He would not give into the Political machine that shells out (B) material. If Eddy Arnold taught Royal Wade one thing it was not to settle, make it the best it can be made. That is just what he did, as a writer he wrote for Garth Brooks, Diamond Rio, Gene Watson and others, all big songs. Then landed a record deal with Ayslum Records where he garnered a top 10 video and had a top 10 dance record across the nation. RW left the label soon after to be able to cut the kind of records he wanted to do. The Western style with a touch of country. RW has been called the "Marty Robbins" of the 21st century, has won the "Will Rogers award" more than once, was named best album by "True West magazine," and XM sat. radio named one of his cds one of the 2 top cds of the yr. on channel 10 America. Royal Wade Kimes can do it all, from writing songs, performing, writing novels and has national attention as an artist as well. If you believe in destiny, when RW left the mountains of AR and ended up at Loretta Lynns ranch where Moony Lynn took a shine to him right away, and from there RW ends up with Lynn Anderson, and from there meets Eddy Arnold for the first time, if you believe that is destiny, or if you believe that is divine intervention, whatever you believe, the folks out there who need and search for great artist are all better for it. Some things are just meant to be. One thing for certain, RWK found his life changing drastically from running a sawmill, punching cattle and training horses. He was now working with and rubbing shoulders with guys like Sheb Wooley, Danny Davis of the Nashville Brass, Bill Paxton on a movie, Powers Booth, Clint Eastwood and many more. RW found himself all of a sudden riding a faster horse. It hasn't changed him though, he is just as down to earth as ever. In fact it sometimes gets him into trouble. He said "I'm just me, and when I do things with folks I don't know that is just me, well sometimes they just don't believe it." I guess I forget they look at me as a star when I am not thinking about that at all." Royal Wade has been touring since 1996 and if you haven't caught the show, then you have missed one of the greatest acts of all time. John Michale Montgomery was in a meeting on his bus next to the river stage at the CMA's when he heard RW start singing a song on stage. He stopped the meeting, went around to the end of the bus and listened. He said, "That guy has one awesome voice." When someone has a vocal good enough to stop a meeting from someone who has heard just about everything, well enough said.
