Amaya James is a 13-year-old illustrator and author from Ontario, Canada. She began developing her artistic skills at the age of four, using simple sketches and online tutorials before cultivating her own distinctive creative style.Working across both traditional and digital mediums, Amaya brings her ideas to life through sketching and digital illustration on her iPad using Procreate. She is known for her ability to transform everyday shapes and moments into expressive characters, each with its own personality and story. Her curiosity continues to expand into new creative areas, including animation, where she is currently teaching herself Blender.Amaya is passionate about storytelling and inspiring other young people to explore their creativity. Through her work, she encourages others to embrace their imagination and recognize that meaningful ideas can begin at any age.
