For more than forty years, australian collector and Art Gallery benefactor David Roche has been developing an outstanding, internationally important private collection of Early eighteenth Century, nineteenth century and Early Twentieth CENTURY European decorative arts.

This book shows 150 of these items at the exhibition held at the Art Galley of south Australia.

The book shows a superb collection of 18th and 19th century chinese, English, French, Russian and German decorative arts.
They include porcelain, ceramics, Furniture, metalwork and paintings.
More ceramics/ porcelain than other arts shown in the book, although beautiful pieces of Furniture Also.

Highlights include magnificent Empire, Regency and Russian furniture, porcelain clocks and objects by renowned designers, Rococo , french and english cabinetmakers and manufacturers such as Chippendale, Thomas Hope, George Smith, Fabergé, Meissen, Worcester, Chelsea, Staffordshire figures, Gardner and more.

The sumptuous book 'presents 150 items from the Collection. Each item is illustrated in full colour, many with lavish details, accompanied by an explanatory text.
