Our Empty Dreamhouse (Paperback or Softback)

Hey Sable I hope this reaches you. The data lines over here are a wreck.

Daema will be okay. The Banshees beat her up good. Despite all the damage they did, she’s hanging on. No broken bones. Doctor says she’ll bounce back soon.

And I know you don’t want to hear this, but she’s still possessed and worse…now wants revenge.

It doesn’t matter what happened to her, she’s still there and she’s still one of us. You were right, the Banshees are going to keep us down like good little lackeys, just one more set of tools to keep breaking their side of the city.

Our Empty Dreamhouse is a familiar cyberpunk story with a fantasy twist. Following a group of women as they navigate the criminal world of a future of science, spirit and sensuality, readers will follow along as they engage with the factions of the city in pursuit of their own goals both inherit and inherited. Each one is tested along her own path, physically and mentally, by corporate or criminal enterprise as they fight to find achieve hope in a world where many others have forgone it. Those familiar with the Shadowrun franchise will find themselves in a familiar home, but one that exchanges the Tolkeinisms of elves and orcs for a gothic\halloween aesthetic of towering gargoyles, digital gHosts, and... catgirls -- in the end, it has its roots firmly in the same clay that inspired the original aesthetics that would evolve into the modern cyberpunk genre, if perhaps in a different time.

We should have one last talk with them, see if we can resolve this. But we’re done with this. No more being a bootlick. You of all people should appreciate that. We need a plan that lets us break free. We need paying work from a credible hexer. Maybe a new member too, someone that can handle the talking part without a weapon in hand.

We’re going to get on our feet one way or another, Sable. Consequences be damned.
