The time required for duplication of original upholstery fabrics and for structural repairs to furnishings will be extensive. It is difficult to imagine that this work will be concluded in even a year's time from this date. With the great public anticipation of opening the Palace it would seem unlikely to expect that this event will be delayed until furnishings are ready for display.
