The AI Encounter: A Digital Explorers Adventure

The Digital Explorers: The AI Encounter brings readers back to Mrs. Mac's classroom for the biggest adventure yet as the friends explore the exciting, ever-evolving world of Artificial Intelligence. When a powerful new app called GenieMind promises to make schoolwork easier, answer every question, and solve every problem in seconds, it seems like the perfect tool. But as the students begin depending on AI for everything, they quickly realize that technology should support learning-not replace creativity, critical thinking, or human connection.

Guided by their new friend Joey, an exchange student from Australia, and the inspiring Ms. Michele, leader of the after-school 21st-Century Club, the Digital Explorers learn how to ask better questions, think independently, collaborate with one another, and use AI responsibly. Along the way, they discover that the most powerful ideas don't always come from a screen-they come from curiosity, imagination, teamwork, and kindness. Even Xander's lovable and mischievous dog, Gizmo, creates unexpected moments of laughter while helping the friends uncover important lessons about trust, responsibility, and making good choices.

Filled with humor, heart, and relatable classroom adventures, The Digital Explorers: The AI Encounter introduces young readers to the possibilities and responsibilities of AI in an age-appropriate way. Perfect for classrooms, libraries, and families, this story encourages children to embrace innovation while remembering that the greatest intelligence will always be the kindness, creativity, and character they bring to the world.
