This is volume 21 SIN - SUR. Contemporary leather binding, gold spine titles. A large, extensive dictionary. No date but before 1800. A nice tight copy, no foxing.The Surgery section has 852 numbered sections plus it's own index. Lots of plates of surgical instruments. And detailed instructions for medical treatments. Will be of interest to modern physicians. Also a nice dicussion of Mr. Watts steam engine with several figures. Also a nice dicussion of Count Rumford's fire place with plates of its self powered spit. A lovely dictionary, alas, only one volume.
