Two Volumes, Hardback, 11.5 x 9 inches. Halfbound maroon morocco leather and pebbled maroon cloth to boards. Black and maroon leather spine labels lettered in gilt. Later leather rebinding with original cloth and gilt decorations to boards. Marbled endpapers and page edges. In very good conditions. Professionally rebound with later leather. Added cloth reinforced inner hinges. Endpapers tanned on rears. Some small chips to edge of colour frontis plate in vol.1, small stain/mark to edge of frontis in vol.2. 2 vols: 1006 & 892pp. Illustrated with full-page colour and toned plates. B&W figures throughout text.
