Two Volumes, Hardback, 11.5 x 9 inches. Halfbound maroon morocco leather and pebbled maroon cloth to boards. Black and maroon leather spine labels lettered in gilt. Later leather rebinding with original cloth and gilt decorations to boards. Marbled endpapers and page edges. In very good conditions. Professionally rebound with later leather. Added cloth reinforced inner hinges. Endpapers tanned on rears. Some small chips to edge of colour frontis plate in vol.1, small stain/mark to edge of frontis in vol.2. 2 vols: 1006 & 892pp. Illustrated with full-page colour and toned plates. B&W figures throughout text.

We are situated in the heart of the "HARDY COUNTRY", just outside Dorchester on the Road to Bournemouth. Our miscellaneous stock is interesting and changes frequently. Books can be returned within 14 days upon receipt (please let us straight away).
If the book was wrongly described, we will refund your return postage. If you
just changed your mind, we would you expect you to refund our postage to you. We
try to give as careful a description as possible, but we do not mention private
library labels or inscriptions, slight foxing, or very minor other faults -
unless these seriously affect the value of the book.
