Mark A. Runco, Ph.D. is Professor of Child and Adolescent Studies at California State University, Fullerton. He is founder and continuing editor of the
Creativity Research Journal and acts as senior editor of the
Perspectives on Creativity book series. Author of over 120 books, chapters, and articles in the area of creativity, he is a fellow and past president of the American Psychological Association's Division 10 (Psychology and the Arts). Dr. Runco is recipient of a Spencer Foundation Research Grant and also of the Early Scholar Award from the National Association for Gifted Children.
Steven Pritzker, Ph.D., is a writer and creativity consultant who has worked with companies such as Fox, MTM, Paramount, Time-Warner, Disney, Eastman Kodak, The Museum of Creativity Project, and Sara Lee. He has taught writing, creativity, and Educational Psychology at UCLA and the University of Southern California.Dr. Pritzker has written over 75 network television episodes for series including Emmy winners Room 222 and The Mary Tyler Moore Show. He worked as a writer or writer/producer on over 200 network episodes including such popular shows as The Partridge Family, The Loveboat, Maude, Fish, Silver Spoons, and Valerie. He has been nominated for the Writers Guild of America Award and received an award from Parents Anonymous for a show written about child abuse. Dr. Pritzker received his Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of Southern California. He writes both academic and popular press articles and books about creativity. In addition, Dr. Pritzker is President of Luminescent Creativity, which consults with corporations and individuals about ways they can improve their creativity.
