The End of an Era The Memoirs of a Naval Constructor

2003 UK, softcover, 370 pages. A veteran Royal Navy constructor reflects on the transformation of British naval engineering from World War II through the late 20th century, from surveying atomic bomb damage in Japan to overseeing the design of carriers, submarines, and missile boats. His candid memoir charts the waning influence of the RCNC, mixing technical insight with pointed critiques of political decision-making. ISBN 9781904381181 In very good condition.
