Roberts is a heartfelt, funny, and deeply moving coming-of-age novel about identity, found family, and friendships that help you rebuild when life knocks you out of tune. It is the one place where he feels steady, sure, and completely himself. Then everything falls apart. A humiliating spiral of bad luck, and one devastating event rips away the future Matthew thought he had earned. With his dreams suddenly out of reach, he is forced to face a terrifying question: if he can't be "the tuba guy," who is he?
