An Endeavor To Answer The Protest Made By William Morshead: Against The Venerable, Apostolical, Spiritual, And Truly Tolerant (1833)

""An Endeavor To Answer The Protest Made By William Morshead: Against The Venerable, Apostolical, Spiritual, And Truly Tolerant"" is a book written by Henry Raper Slade in 1833. The book is a response to a protest made by William Morshead, and aims to defend the ""venerable, apostolical, spiritual, and truly tolerant"" principles of the Church of England. Slade argues that the Church's doctrines and practices are rooted in Scripture and tradition, and that they are essential for the spiritual well-being of its members. He also addresses Morshead's criticisms of the Church's hierarchy and its relationship with the state, arguing that these are necessary for the Church's effective functioning. The book provides a detailed and comprehensive defense of the Church of England and its principles, and is an important historical document for understanding the Church's position in the early 19th century. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
