Verlaine Crawford has had a variety of life experiences, including writing books, traveling the world, presenting workshops, and holding a variety of positions in business, publishing, the hospitality industry, as well as presenting workshops and serving as a personal life mentor.

She began her career in advertising and public relations at Jack Lawlor Advertising and promoted the Queen Mary Project in Long Beach. She served as Director of Sales for the Lodge at Pebble Beach for five years and in the 1980s, became co-founder and Vice President of Marketing for two software firms in Silicon Valley.

In the 1990's she lived in the mountain village of Idyllwild, CA, and wrote two books:
"Ending the Battle Within: How to Create a Harmonious Life by Working with Your Sub-Personalities" and "Daughter of God: Angelic Messages of Wisdom and Love." She was invited to teach workshops across the U.S., in Japan, Hong Kong, Australia, and Europe.

In 1999, she moved to Mission Viejo and took care of her mother, who passed away in 2001. She became V.P. of Marketing for a High Technology company with offices in Irvine, CA, and based in Paris, France.

In July 2002, she became Executive Director of the San Juan Capistrano Chamber of Commerce followed by becoming Executive Director of the Laguna Beach Chamber of Commerce.

Verlaine recently published her third book, "The Heart of Transformation and the Butterfly Effect," which is available in softcover and e-book on Amazon. It is an inspirational book that presents ways to eliminate conflicting beliefs.
