Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 2nd Edition. Second edition first printing of a near fine book in a very good hardcover with some rubbing. The story of John Ferrers found guilty of murder, and the events leading up to it. Interestingly the victim is not revealed until the end of the story. This book has Alvin Redman as the publisher on the book spine and the copyright page but it looks as if the publisher became Bailey Bros. & Swinfen at some point. The dustjacket says that and a sticker is present over the former publisher. Seller Inventory # 167
