Endoscopy of the Central and Peripheral Nervous System

Many neurosurgeons have heard much about the potential of endoscopy, but may no little about its CURRENT applications. This book focuses on state-of-the-art techniques, and has been designed to make neuroendoscopy useful and effective in daily practice.Featuring contributions from two dozen leading experts, the book begins with seven chapters on endoscopic instrumentation and relevant nervous system anatomy. It then goes on to provide fully illustrated information on the treatment of ventricular and intraaxial lesions, hydrocephalus, colloid cysts, paranasal sinus conditions, and many other common disorders. Throughout, the authors critically evaluate endoscopic techniques and how they compare with traditional procedures.
