Indeed, when a poem speaks of "the unstable topography" of dreams, some readers may feel they have arrived at a more stable and recognisable place. About the Author

Nicholas Laughlin is a writer and editor, born and living in Trinidad. His first book was The Strange Years of My Life. Programme director at the Bocas Lit Fest, he also edits The Caribbean Review of Books and the arts and travel magazine Caribbean Beat, and is co-director of the arts space Alice Yard.
