The Enemy Within (Paperback)

How do you stop a weapon of the mind?
A rising wave of suicides. A string of unexplained symptoms. And a secret weapon that was never meant to be unleashed. In the Enemy Within, Greg Player delivers a chilling medical thriller where science turns sinister.

When brilliant neuroscientist Miles Chambers dies under mysterious and horrifying circumstances, his suicide appears to be just another tragedy, until others begin to exhibit the same terryifying symptoms: crushing fatigue, paranoia, physical pain, and a slow descent into madness.
Claire Long, still reeling from the loss of her twin sister, begins to suspect a deeper connection between her sister's unraveling and the quiet epidemic spreading through the lives of strangers. Together with Jack Baker, a biochemist battling his own rapid decline, they must trace the source before it consumes them both.

But the truth is more dangerous than they imagined, an experimental neuro-weapon designed to dismantle the human mind, now possibly unstoppable.

Taut, intellegent, and disturbingly plausible, The Enemy Within is a dystopian thriller for fans of medical susupense, psychological unraveling, and high-stakes conspiracies with consequences far beyond the laboratory.

The most dangerous enemy lives inside us.
