Energy and the Environment

This book describes the state of the art at the interface between energy and environmental research. Adrian Bejan, professor of Mechanical Engineering at Duke University, is one of the world's preeminent energy scientists and is known for having developed the Constructal Law of design and evolution in nature. Bejan also currently holds chairs at three foreign universities: University of Evora, University of Pretoria, and Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Bejan has written the world's leading books on thermal sciences for graduate-level education in English, including "Advanced Engineering Thermodynamics, Convection Heat Transfer, "and "Convection in Porous Media". He has given two TED lectures.
