About the Author

KOTOBUKI Masashi is a distinguished professor at the Battery Research Center of Green Energy, Ming Chi University of Technology in Taiwan. He earned his PhD in Materials Science from the University of Yamanashi in Japan in 2006. Over his career, he has held several significant academic positions, including Senior Research Fellow and Research Fellow at the National University of Singapore (NUS), Associate Professor at Hakodate National College of Technology in Japan, Assistant Professor at Tokyo Metropolitan University, and Researcher at Ulm University in Germany. Since August 2021, he has been leading research efforts at Ming Chi University of Technology, focusing on the development of next-generation lithium batteries, post-lithium batteries, solid electrolytes, anion batteries, electrode materials, and separator materials. With a prolific publication record that includes 98 journal articles, 12 review articles, and 7 books, his research has received wide recognition, amassing 5336 citations and an h-index of 34.
