About the Author
John Hannon's broadcasting career began at the age of fifteen as a radio station disc jockey. By the age of eighteen, John answered the call of customer service as an account executive. He has an impressive portfolio of experience, having held various sales, station management, program distribution, and corporate positions with Tri-Radio Broadcasting, ACT III, Sullivan Broadcasting, Sinclair Broadcasting, Quorum Broadcasting, Acme Communications, Jim Doyle & Associates, and Univision Television. Under John's leadership, television stations have won five #1 in the nation awards, the network Model For Success, the Better Business Bureau Integrity Award, and multiple National Association of Broadcasting Sales Promotion awards. Originally from Ironton, Ohio, John holds degrees from Central Texas College and Ohio University. He completed his Master's degree in Journalism and Broadcast Station Management at Marshall University. He is a member of the National Speakers Association and has achieved the Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) designation. John is a nearly twelve-year veteran of the Air Force, Air Force Reserve, and Army National Guard. He is married with two daughters, a son, and two dogs.
