The 'indicator' was an invention of James Watt. 19 pages of diagrams and a foldout drawing of a valve. Ownership inscription dated 1872 in Callao, Peru by somebody who worked for the Pacific Steam Navigation Company on the SS Panama. Apparently the Panama 2 was built for them in 1866. 2nd edition.
