About the Author
Brian Fitzgerald is the director of Lero, the Irish Software Research Centre. He holds the Frederick Krehbiel II Professorship in Innovation in Business and Technology at the University of Limerick, Ireland. His research focuses on software development, encompassing open source, agile, lean, continuous software engineering, and global software development.
Audris Mockus is the Ericsson-Harlan D. Mills Chair Professor of Digital Archeology and Evidence Engineering in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Tennessee. His research interests include software engineering, open source, operational data, statistics, and optimization.
Minghui Zhou is a professor in the Institute of Software at Peking University. Her research interests include software engineering, open source, and mining software repositories.

I. General Terms and Conditions
§ 1 Basic provisions
(1) The following terms and conditions apply to all contracts that you conclude with us as a provider (AHA-BUCH GmbH) via the Internet platforms AbeBooks and/or ZVAB. Unless otherwise agreed, the inclusion of any of your own terms and conditions used by you will be objected to

§ 5 Choice of law, place of performance, place of jurisdiction
(1) German law shall apply. In the case of consumers, this choice of law shall only apply insofar as this does not withdraw the protection afforded by mandatory provisions of the law of the state of the consumer's habitual residence (principle of favourability).
(2) The place of performance for all services arising from the existing business relationships with us as well as the place of jurisdiction is our registered office, insofar as you are not a consumer, but a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law. The same applies if you do not have a general place of jurisdiction in Germany or the EU or if the domicile or habitual residence is not known at the time the action is brought.
