Engineering the Victory March

Engineering the Victory March, a book of disarming candour, emotion,
and honesty, brings on record the contribution made by the Sappers, and
the 235 Army Engineer Regiment in particular, during the 1971
Liberation War of Bangladesh. It is a collection of first-hand accounts by
the Sappers of their achievements and how they held ground during the
battle. What makes the read more dramatic is because the author also
traces the political background, the overall strategy, the preparation for
the battle at the theatre level, the personalities involved, the
implementation stage and the reasons for the overall success.
