332 (of336) pages with the last 2 leaves lacking, the rext here is clean and in really good condition for the age., no splits tears of stains of browning. newer endpapers, in a full burgundy smooth morocco, the inside front board has a list of the Kent family of Folkstone owners beginning with Robert Kent [1695-1760] signed by him on top of title page in 1732, and other member right up to 1947 9 previous names and an inscription from "John Kent of Soham 14th Oct 1847 presented to his daughter Catherine Kent" (aged 27). The binding might actually be early 18th century. Octavo size but bound in 4's (so quarto).
