Hope's Estate Finds & More is an independent online bookseller specializing in interesting, collectible, vintage, out-of-print, and hard-to-find books discovered through estates, auctions, and other secondary-market sources.
Our inventory is intentionally diverse because every estate has a different story to tell. You may find vintage and antiquarian books, history and regional titles, cookbooks, children's books, religious and inspirational works, hymnals and songbooks, academic and scholarly volumes, mathematics and science books, reference works, literature, biographies, specialty nonfiction, and unusual titles that deserve to be discovered again.
We especially enjoy finding books that have something distinctive to offer?an uncommon edition, an older printing, an interesting publisher, a specialized subject, historical significance, attractive binding, unusual illustrations, or simply a title that may be difficult to locate in today's book market.
Because most of our books have had previous lives, we take condition seriously. Books are carefully examined and photographed, and we work to identify important details such as edition, printing, publication information, signatures, inscriptions, markings, wear, and other characteristics whenever they can be determined. We believe buyers should have the information they need to make a confident purchasing decision.
Our goal is not simply to sell used books. It is to connect books with the people searching for them. A decades-old mathematics volume may belong in the library of a mathematician or collector. A vintage gospel songbook may preserve a piece of American church-music history. A forgotten cookbook may contain recipes someone remembers from childhood. An obscure local-history book may provide information a researcher has been trying to find for years.
We believe these books still have stories to tell and value to the right reader, researcher, collector, student, historian, musician, or book lover.
Every order is prepared with care, with particular attention given to protecting older and more fragile books during shipment.
