No date of publication; probably 1910. Imprint includes George Newnes in London, and Charles Scribner's Sons in New York. Title page in red and black. Includes a list of the contents of the 3 volumes of In English Homes, also with photographs by Charles Lathem and published by Country Life. Contains photographs of the interiors and exteriors of 69 English and Welsh mansions and castles, including Kirby Hall in Northamtonshire. Includes an index. Publisher's advertisements on 16 unpaginated pages following index. Former owner's name on first blank page: Harry G. Stewart. Architect Harry G. Stewart (1892-1976) worked with Horace Trumbauer and other architects in Philadelphia throughout his career. A heavy book; for international shipping, the U.S. Postal Service requires that it be shipped by priority/expedited shipping. In Good+ Condition: loss at ends of spine; cloth is torn and frayed along upper joints; 1x1.5-cm. hole in upper spine; rubbed and frayed along edges; back hinge is weak; pages 407-410 were not bound in but are present with closed 1-cm. tears from upper edges and fore-edges; upper edge and fore-edge of p. 407 is soiled; otherwise, clean and solid.…
