The English Revisers' Greek Text: Shown To Be Unauthorized, Except By Egyptian Copies Discarded By Greeks (1882)

The book ""The English Revisers' Greek Text: Shown To Be Unauthorized, Except By Egyptian Copies Discarded By Greeks"" was written by George Whitefield Samson in 1882. The book presents an argument against the use of the English Revisers' Greek Text, which was a revised version of the New Testament in Greek. Samson argues that this revised text is not authorized, except by the use of Egyptian copies that were discarded by Greeks. He claims that these copies are unreliable and should not be used to make revisions to the original Greek text. The book provides a detailed analysis of the history and accuracy of the Greek text, and offers a critique of the methods used by the English Revisers in their revision. Overall, the book is a scholarly work that challenges the validity of the English Revisers' Greek Text and provides a valuable contribution to the field of biblical studies. And To Be Opposed To The Historic Text Of All Ages And Churches. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
