Black leather on boards with gilt lettering to spine. Leather is badly scuffed at extremities with some 'show-through' at corners of boards. Decorative brass clasp is whole and fully operative. Loose title pages to Old and New Testament sections, but complete.A 'Fac-Simile Reprint, With Larger Types' of Bagster's pocket editions. Six pages of coloured maps of the Holy Land. 8 pages of prelims, 598 pp Old Testament, 188 pp New Testament plus 50pp Psalms. A good reading copy or rebind. The book is undated, but a hand written 'gift inscription' on a front free page is dated 1859.
