451 pages with 4 pages adverts at rear, photo illustrations and line drawings. Lime green cloth with gilt titles on spine and illustration on cover in black. inscription on FFEP dated 1905 and endpapers a little age browning. All printed on glossy art paper. Very Good+ *All the good, bad, charlatans, quacks and thieves described plying their 14th century skulduggery & guile on the already poor population, the requirements needed by law to provide for said rascals under the guise of a "pilgrim" or wayfarer. The state of the roads, the peasantry and the judiciary all described with clarity and purpose. Seller Inventory # 7003

We very rarely use "fine" or "mint" as a description, mainly due to the age and the fact that 99.9% of what we sell has been pre-owned and therefor Fine would not be a term for a book we sell despite its fine-like appearance. We always take items back unreservedly if not in the condition as described. We always try to describe fully.
